The dangers of Wi-FI!
Interesting
article on the potential dangers of Wi-Fi in yesterday's Independent on Sunday which may have implications for us as we work in a Wi-Fi building, but is pointing out that we should take care when moving to blanket adoption because of unknown impact on health and well-being. It was something that also came up on Radio 4's Today programme this morning, so obviously a current hot topic!
24/4/07 The Guardian G2 has a little
comment sidebar on this issue today: no one knows the effect, little research, but run at relatively low power levels i.e. "a person sitting within a Wi-Fi hot spot for a whole year receives the same dose of radiowaves as a person using a mobile phone for 20 minutes."

Blogger difficulties
Been having difficulties with Blogger lately (could only post titles) so transferred to using Firefox (following advice from a colleague - thanks Paul) which seems to work - hey presto I can see the formatting menu and I can post content also! So apologies if you thought I'd finally lost it and hit the bottle ....
