Thinking and Researching

Greetings from Canada Hello all from Canada!
Currently visiting Edmonton to present at and attend ISSoTL 2008 - more about CETL networks. It's pretty cold here but beautifully sunny, spending a little time looking around the city while waiting for sessions to begin.
Been a while since I contributed to this blog as life's been incredibly busy recently: started doing a lot more teaching (on the in house PGCert course and developing a couple of Masters modules), organising workshops, picking up a PhD supervision (on the Leverhulme project being run by Maggi Savin Baden) and trying to keep other research activity on the go. Also using an in house blogging tool (a version of WordPress software) to blog for various teaching activities, but that tends to be private.
This Blog began as an attempt to lessen people's mailbox loads, record thoughts as my job developed and provide a way of sharing information. I've since moved jobs, but will be keeping up the Blogging ... hope it helps.
